Mark Ackermann

Mark Ackermann

CEO

Mark Ackermann’s career includes 40 years of administrative experience. He has held executive-level positions with the St. Vincent’s Catholic Medical Centers in New York City, the Archdiocese of New York where he ran Pope Benedict’s Papal Visit to New York, the CEO of Lighthouse International, and the CEO of the Catholic Community Foundation of Long Island. He is also the Founder and Principal of Mark Ackermann Associates, a management consulting firm. Mr. Ackermann currently serves as Chairman of the US Association of Blind Athletes, a member organization of the Team USA Paralympic Organization. He serves as a board member of both the Reader’s Digest Partners for Sight Foundation and the Foundation for Justice and Peace in the Vatican, and as a Special Advisor to the Path to Peace Foundation at the Vatican’s Mission to the United Nations. He also served as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University, New School University, and New York University. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the Catholic University of America and a Master’s Degree in Not-for-Profit Management from New York University. He and his wife, June, live in Freehold, NJ, where they enjoy keeping up with their six children, their spouses, and nine grandchildren.

Diane Tremaine serves as the Chief Financial Officer of the Post-Traumatic Training Institute (PTTI), LLC. The Board of Directors of PTTI also named Ms. Tremaine the Assistant Secretary and Assistant Treasurer of the Corporation. She is also an officer of The Research and Recognition Project, Inc.

Ms. Tremaine earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, MA and a Master of Business Administration Degree from Shippensburg College in Shippensburg, PA. She had a distinguished career at Armstrong World Industries, PA for 25 years, where she worked in various roles including Project Engineer, Supervising Accountant, Auditor, and Compensation Director. Later working in the Human Resources Departments at several major corporations including Corning Inc., Advion BioSciences, and XGEN Pharmaceuticals, Inc. in NY.

Ms. Tremaine lives in Beaver Dams, NY, with her husband, a wood and ceramic artist, Dave Tremaine. They love to spend time with their three children and four grandchildren.

Meghan Bourke

Meghan grew up in the Finger Lake Region of New York State and was a very active child. After obtaining an Associate’s Degree at the local community college, she “ran away” and joined the circus. Ms. Bourke spent 16 years teaching and performing circus arts around the world, specializing in aerials and flying trapeze. In 2012, when she retired from the circus, she started working for the R&R Project doing data entry. She has become an integral part of the team and has assisted in almost every aspect of both organizations, including operations, accounting & finance, marketing, and training. Ms. Bourke enjoys working for such an amazing cause and is very excited to see the RTM ProtocolTM  help people around the world.

Richard Gray

Director of Research

Richard M. Gray, PhD is research director for the Project. He is on the Faculty of the Touro School of Osteopathic Medicine, Middletown, NY, and is recently retired from the School of Criminal Justice, Fairleigh Dickinson University in Teaneck, New Jersey. Prior to his appointment at FDU, Dr. Gray served for more than 20 years in the U.S. Probation Department, Brooklyn, New York. Gray was recipient of the 2004 Neuro-Linguistic Programming World Community Award in Education. He is the author of Archetypal Explorations (1996), Transforming Futures: The Brooklyn Program Facilitators Manual (2008), About Addictions: Notes from Psychology, Neuroscience, and NLP(2008), Co-author with Frank Burke and Lisa Wake of The Clinical Effectiveness of NLP (2012). Dr. Gray received his BA in Psychology from Central College, his MA in Sociology from Fordham University, and his PhD in Psychology from the Union Institute. Gray works on grant writing, experimental design and publications for the project.
